Eddie Ballas
Camp Director

Coach Ballas has played and coached on all levels of the game. Coach Ballas has played and coached on both semi professional teams and professional teams. He has a United States Soccer Federation Coaching License Category B. Coach Ballas has received many awards for his coaching and playing accomplishments. We have selected a few of the organizations that he has played for and coached in his years of involvement with soccer.

Coaching Experiences:

Professional – New York Apollo, Coached them against Roma of Italy and Coached the Apollo to the Eastern Division Champions of A.S.L

Semi-Pro – New York Atlas Soccer Club, Coached them to Division Champions undefeated and also winning the Cosmopolitan League Cup.

College – Men’s Head Soccer Coach at Rutgers University for 4 years.

Youth –Formed a program for Throgs Neck Stars, which had over 100 kids. Many of which were recruited for college and some later going on to play professional soccer.
Coached Fort Lee Strikers, in winning the Championship and playoffs for two consecutive years.
Head Coach of the U-18 select Cosmopolitan Soccer League.

Playing Experience:

Professional – Played for A.E.K of Greece in a tournament against Sanots of Brazil with Pele and Benfica of Portugal with Eusbio.

Semi-Pro – Played for New York Astros when they won the United States Challenged Cup.

Semi-Pro – Doxa Soccer Club, played winning the Division Champions in consecutive years.
